I just love this little pup & the ideal stamp to use for our theme this week. I stamped with Versafine which is perfect for the fine detail in this stamp & I have softly coloured with pencils. I stamped the image again onto white card & cut out just the brim & pompom of the hat before attaching to the image & giving the "Frantage" treatment with Shaved Ice. The image has been mounted onto red, green & the tartan paper & to finish I've added the sentiment, ribbon, punched holly leaves & Candis.

It's nearly Halloween & the time of year again when "things go bump in the night" It's also time also for the Crafty Cardmakers Challenge. For this one I took a A5 card blank as my base & tore up some strips of linen card for the bandages of "the mummy"! I punched the circles for the eyes & placed them on the brown card background then laid the strips of bandage around to make it look like it was peering out. I edged the torn strips with the grey ink to "age" it. I used the Artemio alphabet to spell "Boo!",cut out the letters & mounted them on some 3D foam pads. To finish add the googly eyes & some black Stickles to the letters. Pop over to see what the ladies of the Crafty Cardmakers design team have come up with.

It's the time for falling leaves & high time for me to get out my stencils & do some pasting! I've pasted with the white embossing paste onto green card (did you know that there's a bigger pot now?!) & when thoroughly dry I've replaced the stencil to add some inks to colour the leaves  (I've used Brilliance). To create the card blank I've cut away the top half of the front & punched a semi circle from the centre of the top of the half left & from the wood effect piece. The wood grain effect, I confess was left from a workshop I held a while ago & was achieved with an embossing folder, wax paper, glossy card & inks BUT there is a lovely new stamp from Francoise Read FRS627 "Wood Panel" which will give you a stunning wood effect without all the palaver (I need that stamp!)  I carefully cut out the leaves from one of my pasted panels & placed the mask over the one I've chosen for the top of the design & inked some brick effect onto it. The cut out leaves have been attached with some 3D foam pads & to complete the design I've stamped the sentiment which comes from one of Woodware's "Tiddlers" & added the square brads.

Time for the regular sketch challenge from Woodware & for this sketch with all the separate circles I've decided to use "Santa Post Elements" from Francoise Read with all it's very useful little stamps. It's fairly self explanatory as you can see, I've punched 9 circles from white card & embossed a different icon onto each & also edged each circle with silver embossing too. I've mounted the paper onto the silver card which has then been attached to the card blank. To complete the design I've snipped the Pearl Stars into 4 pieces & added to the corners of the card. Here's the original sketch:-
