A fun card this week created mostly with peel offs & just a little stamping for the  tongue in cheek sentiment at the bottom! Pop the dog & cat peel offs onto some card, colour using Tombow pens & cut out. The background has been created on the silver card using peel off lines with branches & leaves from the Leaves peel off. Punch a moon from lemon card & attach the animals with foam pads. I've scattered a few stars from a Christmas peel off I had left Layer onto black card before attaching to the card blank. Simple but quirky!

WOYWW 113

Wow another week has flown by already! Hope you're all well today. Here's my desk & the same mess as last week really, can't see it improving any time soon.Oh I do have a new little storage unit on the desk which has turned out to be very useful. I keep rummaging for suitable card & paper but does it get put back??? Nope! The pile's a- growing! I did have a clear up of stamps & virtuously cleaned & put them away but now all things Cuttlebug are taking over. There's some bunting awaiting attention too. I'll get to it............eventually!!

Here's a look as promised at the jewels I made for my own amusement while on my hols.

Just seed beads & pearls & an assortment of random beads.
On a wire, chunky beads & charms

OK so I'm an earring freak!!

I'm quite proud of this one as I made all the green beads from rolled paper a while ago.

This is my "let's use up everything  that's left" necklace- just a bit of fun!
That's all from me for this week have a good Wednesday,  stay safe & healthy until next week.Bye for now!

This week we're just letting someone who is feeling a bit blue or perhaps unwell know that we're thinking of them. I've taken the theme literally & gone for all kinds of shades of blue with punched layers from the various 12 x 12 papers using the Crafty Edger & Tag border. I've sliced the front of the card blank diagonally & rejoined the right hand side with a fold of card. Starting at the top of the card I've layered all the different strips overlapping to give a frilly, lacy effect. The sentiment has been stamped onto Gingham Blue paper using Versafine & layered onto some dark blue card. This panel has only been attached to the card blank on the left hand side diagonally so that the right front half closes behind it . As you will see I've sliced away the top & bottom corners of the 2 halves of the card respectively to reveal the dark blue spotty London 4 paper inside which provides a contrast. To finish the outside of the card I have added some Liquid Pearls to the border pattern on the stamped panel.

Here's a closer look at the inside of the card

It's that time of the month again & here we are almost half way through the year already! I've chosen a floral theme this month & have put 2 lovely botanical stamps from Stampendous together. Simply stamped onto cream card using Vintage Sepia I've softly coloured Botanical Magnolia with Sakura pencils & sponged around the edges. All the background pieces have been printed with Botanical Blooms using Pearlescent Beige & you can see what different effects you can achieve from one inkpad on different coloured card. Just add some pearls to finish this pretty delicate design.

We're making a gift for the men in our lives this week with Father's Day on the horizon. As I don't have my Dad now this one will be for Mr. Frosty & indulging his love of all things nautical  I've designed a keepsake chest that he can keep all his treasures in!
I've started with a plain balsa wood chest but knowing me I couldn't wait to get started on it so I  forgot to take a "before & after" photo but you'll know what I mean. I started by sponging all over with the blues & ambers from Creole Spice. When dry I stamped directly onto the chest with all the various stamps. The stamps couldn't be mounted onto an acrylic block in the usual way because of the curves of the chest & that's where a cling stamp comes in very handy-if you're careful & hold your breath!! For the decoration of the chest I plaited & coiled some string & aged it with the inkpads. I made some patches of Frantage on some card & just tore it into rough pieces before attaching with some craft glue. I also applied the Aged powders directly to the chest by adding some Boss Gloss - this has a handy felt applicator end so that you can put it just where you want it. I then added the powders & heat embossed in the usual way. finally I added some Bronze Mica flakes & black glitter. He's got no excuse for all those bits & bobs hanging around now!!
