My list of ingredients this week reads like the War & Peace but once I got started on this weeks theme of "Texture" I just kept thinking of more great products which would be just right for the job. We're well into August now & autumn days just around the corner. I just fell in love with the new stamp from Jane Gill "Woodland Bird" & was itching to use it. Love this new embossing powder too from the Stampendous Frantage range "Rose Gold". Embossed onto brown card was all that was needed really although I did add a little light shading with the pale pink pencil.
The panel you see under the image is created from the Dreamweaver stencil plus red pearl card passed through my Cuttlebug & then lightly sponged with the gold inkpad. The burlap ribbon is attached under that. For the swirls at the top corner of the Hairy Manilla layer I applied the gold embossing paste through part of the mask & then sprinkled the gold, copper & rose gold powders before heating with a heat tool. The leaves have been stamped onto a piece of card which has been given the direct to paper treatment with autumnal shades from some chalk inkpads & then cut out. The leaves & the sentiment, which has been stamped onto a punched piece from the ornate punch, come from "Curly Leaves". The layout has been mounted onto the mirror card before attaching to the cream card blank. To finish add the gems & button.
