Stepping away from card making this week to create a decoration & this idea is something that has been buzzing around in my mind for a while now so time to finally let it out. I've used the fun new "Deck the Halls" from Francoise Read as the focal point of my Christmas wall hanging which has been stamped with Versafine & embossed with clear powder before being coloured with Stardust pens. Cut loosely  around the image before mounting onto bright blue, red & lime green card. As you will see I've randomly stamped the sentiment which comes with the set onto the card layers & added some faux stitching too. The corners gave been rounded with the large corner rounder punch.
The base of the hanging is made from wide lolly sticks which have been stuck together at varying positions .I've also stamped the sentiment onto the lolly sticks & added some Jingle Bells suspended with some Fancy twine. Now just punch some holly leaves & add some suitable buttons as your berries. To finish I have added some gold "Metals" & some gingham ribbon.
