We have a fun theme this week in Shaker cards. These can fit any occasion & your imagination can run wild with the things you can use to shake. Materials range from sugar strands (think cupcakes), sand for a beachy card, punched leaves or flowers, glitter, beads, seeds (as I have used this time)- the possibilities are endless!
I've gone for a garden look this week as I'm yearning for spring & to restore order to the quagmire which is my garden at the moment.
You need to make a window panel for the shaker part & I have stamped the "Nasturtium" at the top left corner of a piece of cream linen card, coloured with Tombow pens & cut around part of it before cutting the rest of the aperture away with a craft knife & ruler. Attach a piece of acetate on the wrong side with dsa tape. Remember to leave a wide enough frame to take the 3d foam tape which will hold the frame away from the base were the seeds will be doing their shaking.  Make sure that you have a good seal around all the edges to prevent the seeds from escaping. You'll notice that I have stamped the design on the orange inner panel (under the seeds) to add a little interest.
I've also stamped the flowers several times & coloured & cut just the flower heads out & made a little border along the bottom of the frame.
I have used a sentiment from Thoughtful Wishes for the tag & stamped the little flower icon with a watermark pad on the card blank & the tag itself. to finish I've given the flowers & leaves a coating of Glossy Accents for a great shine.
Top tip- you may want to give the acetate a gentle wipe with an anti stat pad to prevent your shaker bits from clinging to it.
